LE Breaching
OVERVIEW
Students will be introduced to manual, mechanical and ballistic breaching methodologies and how to apply them to gain access to their target locations. This hands-on course is designed for both the first responder and tactical members in approaching a breach in to a crisis site or tactical mission. This course will cover how to analyze a breach point’s construction and how to use that intelligence to select the proper tool and create a breaching plan for the mission. It also covers entry into a structure under exigent circumstances to save and protect innocent lives. Students will experience multiple breaching tools to learn the pros and cons and limitations of their tools so they will be able to successfully execute their breaching plan either planned or unplanned. Students will be exposed to some unconventional techniques that will help in defeating or allowing for alterative access to fortified/barricaded targets.

Current law enforcement or military credentials are required.

- 10 Breaching Shotgun Rounds
- Eye and ear protection
- Gloves
- Long Sleeve Shirt
- Clothing which can get dirty or torn
- Issued Deployment / Call out gear
- lunch and water
OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT
- Ram / H-Tool / Breaching Shotgun
- Weather Gear, we will train in rain, cold, snow, ETC
- EIC (Empty Chamber Indicator)
