Defensive Carbine

OVERVIEW

This 2-day human behavior driven carbine course is designed to take you out of your comfort zone and prepare you with a combat style mindset by teaching you how to run a rifle rather than just how to shoot it. You know how to shoot a rifle, now let us show you how to effectively fight with it. This course will peak your performance in real life high stress encounters. This course is not designed based on the principle of how to shoot paper on the range. Instead, students will receive training to respond to a real-world life threating encounter by mastering defensive shooting with a carbine. You will receive training that will increase your safety, survivability, and weapons handling skills by learning real world tactics on the range. This course will put you in unconventional shooting positions, teach off set at CQB distance, and the difference between shooting and moving and shooting on the move. You will learn proper reloading techniques, and how to clear malfunctions faster and more efficiently, along with proper use of cover based on human behavior under stress. We will teach you to run your carbine in a way that will prepare you for any encounter including close quarters engagements, such as a building search or clearing your own home. You will also learn how to transition from carbine quickly and effectively to handgun and handgun to carbine and when a reload or malfunction clearance should be conducted vs a transition.
